This was a targeted operation across County Lines of supply of large scale Class A & B drugs. There were seven defendants on the joint indictment, with over 30,000 pages of evidence. The prosecution case was based upon telephone interconnectivity between the various defendants & drugs buyers, as well as observations & a real time raid on the premises (drugs den] where the drugs were recovered as they were being prepared for onward supply. The defendant was also arrested at the premises along with his DNA being found on the main drugs line ‘burner phone’.
The defendant represented by Ashmans Solicitors was said by the prosecution to be a central lynch pin of the supply chain said to have control of the main drugs supply ‘burner phone’.
After a 6-week trial at Harrow Crown Court the accused represented by Ashmans Solicitors was acquitted unanimously by the jury.
