The Defendant, a man of previous good character, was charged with Dangerous Driving amongst a number of other offences. He had been previously represented by a firm in Manchester and had been dissatisfied with the service provided.

He was highly recommended to us by three separate individuals who had been represented by Ashmans previously in three distinct separate geographical locations. This matter was further compounded by the fact that the subject who was the object of dangerous driving was in fact a fully uniformed police officer.

Ashmans were instructed on a privately paying basis. Due to the technicality of the case and the fact that the victim was a Police Officer, very careful consideration had to be given to the instruction of an expert Barrister.

Ashmans along with the expert Barrister meticulously went through the evidence pinpointing potential flaws in the prosecution case. Expert evidence was obtained from the Locus of the incident following which these issues were raised with the Prosecution. As a result of this, the Prosecution was left with very little or no evidence as to the serious charge of Dangerous Driving.

Ashmans thus managed to persuade the Prosecution to accept a lesser charge of Driving without due care and attention and the Defendant received penalty points as opposed to a certain Custodial Sentence. If you feel that you are being misrepresented then contact our driving offence solicitors London.
