Duty Solicitor (Part Time)
Location: Office based – Leeds, Dewsbury, Sheffield
Schedule: Structured 5-day working week
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 FTE, pro-rata

We offer both. Some roles are based in our West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire offices, while others, such as consultancy positions, may offer flexible or remote working. Details are listed under each role.
Our 4-day week roles are designed to support better work-life balance while maintaining earning potential and meaningful legal impact.
You will receive structured training, mentoring from senior solicitors and directors, and regular performance reviews. We actively support your career growth, whether toward leadership, consultancy or specialist advocacy.
For most solicitor roles, yes, especially where duty accreditation is required. However, we may consider exceptional candidates from related areas who can show a clear commitment to criminal defence.
Consultants receive 70% on own-client cases and 50% on duty-generated cases. Employed solicitors may also benefit from additional fee-share on self-introduced matters. Terms apply.
Our 12-month Management Training Programme is open to internal and external candidates with strong leadership potential. Completion is required before appointment to an Office Director role.
