Drink Driving and the Law
Under the Road Traffic Act 1988, it is an offence to drive or attempt to drive a motor vehicle on a road or public place with excess alcohol in your system. The prescribed limit in England and Wales is, 35 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, 107 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of urine.

- Had a concentration of alcohol exceeding the prescribed limit.
