Health and Safety Executive Investigations and the Law
Under England & Wales law, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) enforces the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (HSWA), along with numerous supporting regulations including the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. These laws impose duties on employers, employees, and those in control of premises to ensure, so far as reasonably practicable, the safety and welfare of employees and the public.
